Welcome to Bethel Lutheran. I am David Sites, Senior Pastor at Bethel. I have been in this position since 1993. Having had a farm background, I can appreciate the importance of ministry to small town/rural folks.

A bit about myself. I grew up on a farm in west-central Ohio. All of my college and seminary training took place in that state. Upon graduation from seminary in 1974, I was assigned to this part of the country and have served congregations in this area ever since. They include: United at Hampton, NE; Messiah at Aurora, NE; St. John's at Kensington, KS; American at Gothenburg, NE and now Bethel in Holdrege, NE.

I am married to Anita and together we have four children-Brent, Rhonda, Valorie and Loren. The three oldest are married. Brent is a dentist and is married to a Holdrege girl, Valerie Ham. Rhonda's husband Garret Shaw is a doctor. Valorie is a nurse and is married to Gene Hauck, a medical student. Loren is in dental school. We have seven grandchildren.
