Bethel Women
The Women of Bethel are partners in the total ministry of the church. The organization affirms, supports and challenges women in their daily ministries at home and around the world. The Bethel Church Women consists of all women of Bethel. This organization at Bethel is made of a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer. Team members meet every month. Throughout the year, BCW organizes monthly programs. This women's group also supports various local and global missions.
Bethel Circles
Bethel Circles involve over 60 women who meet monthly for Bible study. The five circles are named for women in the Bible. The Sarah Circle meets the third Tuesday of the Month at 9:30 A.M. Naomi/Rachel also meet the third Tuesday, but in the evening at 7:30 P.M. The third Wednesday is when the Rebecca Circle meets at 9:00 A.M. Two circles meet on the third Thursday. Anna Circle meets at 2:00 P.M. and the Martha Circle meets at 7:30 P.M. Besides Bible study, circles also maintain contact with women who are shut-ins and visit the nursing homes and Mosaic women clients that are members of Bethel.
Bethel Work Unit
The Bethel Work Unit is made of women of Bethel who are willing to make quilts. They meet in the church basement on the fourth Thursday at 1:30 P.M. except for the months of November and December. Tops for quilts are prepared at home. The quilts are tied together at church. The women produce up to 80 quilts a year to be given to Lutheran World Relief. One or two a year are given to Lutheran Outdoor Ministries for auction.
Serving Groups
There are seven Serving Groups that serve funerals, weddings, and other functions at Bethel. All women of Bethel are assigned a serving group. The women provide the food and time to these events.
